I came from a company that had a lot of internal politics. Coming here was a beautiful change of pace. There was a general sense of everyone wanting to collaborate and make things better. Being heard, respected, and having clear communication are my favorite things at Choice.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Their openness - they are very approachable and keep open lines of communication with all employees.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It would have been the bonus, but due to pandemic, no bonus this year. Might be nice to also be offered employee stock options at lower levels.
What makes you most happy at work?
My coworkers. Life is hard in general, so having a positive collaborative workplace makes it so much easier mentally. Not having to carry the stress of workplace politics is a huge relief.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is small, only 4 people, but we all get along very well. I love my manager and coworkers. We like to chit chat as well as get through our work. Makes for a very pleasant atmosphere.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Inclusion and diversity. I think it's so great how the company is focused on making everyone both feel comfortable and learning from different perspectives. Anything I say is thoughtfully considered. I don't feel as though my thoughts are ever brushed off.
