I enjoy my work and the staff I work with but I feel that the executive director and above are more interested in numbers than people. I believe we are supposed to be people helping people and we now treat payers instead of people
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I began as a PCM, then CD and now ED so advancement has been great. I have been here 11 years and cannot imagine working anywhere else. I do feel that LHC pays less than our competitors, home office is paid well but on a local level the pay is very low making it difficult to hire and retain staff.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I may not specifically feel undervalued however my staff in all four offices have stated that they feel LHC does not value their employees. On a local level they do feel valued but monetarily a 2% raise annually is less than satisfactory due to inflation and tenure is not rewarded. Let's do better.
