I like that there is a commitment to the employees as humans. I also appreciate the push to be better at bringing in and retaining diversity in our teams. Having a plan with follow-thru is really important. Also appreciate the drive to keep profitable.
I like my colleagues a lot, but I am often overwhelmed with anxiety before our interactions. It takes a lot of mental preparation. Continuing to foster a culture where people feel safe to express vulnerability is important and something I see Meltwater trying to improve.
While I appreciate that my salary is in a fair range, I am paid less than colleagues in the same role as me who have similar skillsets and years of experience. I work extremely hard. Benefits are mostly good, but it's hard to get some things approved. Covering couples counseling would also be nice.
I dread going to work. I work my ass off, and it doesn't seem like enough. Or I'm not receiving feedback about if it is or if I'm just screwing up. I feel like I'm never enough for my team. I think we need to improve our communication culture. More retros just about that maybe.
Trying to think of things. Being remote is hard. I used to have many close work friends, but no longer have any. It feels like we all trust each other less too. Maybe more feedback, especially about why/if you do or don't have confidence in me? I feel isolated and alone here- a new feeling.
