Textron Systems: Yes. More transparency on compensation.
Textron Systems: For the most part, the people have been really great. The organization and leadership priorities don't necessarily align with my own, so I don't always agree with company decisions
Textron Systems: I've had a negative experience working at Textron Systems. The compensation and benefits are lacking, deadlines have unrealistic timelines so you're expected to work late, and leadership has an outdated mindset based on their inadequate and dangerous COVID-19 guidelines.
Textron Systems: A bit antiquated leadership (disallowed to work from home), but I like the products we support.
Textron Systems: It's been a fantastic experience and always look to see where I can help the company.
Textron Systems: I'm paid a decent salary
Textron Systems: I like the opportunity to grow in an inclusive environment and move around to different career areas if desired. I have had good experiences in that I am constantly challenged to grow professionally, even if it is not something I am comfortable in at first.
Textron Systems: Textron has a great group of people who work together well. There have been a number of retirements that will impact the overall company and in order to recruit the top employees, our pay scales need increased.
Textron Systems: Since I started, 90% of employees showed no interest in getting to know me on a personal level. Due to retention issues, I was forced to learn a job with minimal training (set up for failure). Additionally, leadership completely botched the COVID situation.
Textron Systems: Engaging, dynamic, fast-paced environment that breeds plenty of challenges and opportunities to learn.
Textron Systems: It started off rather poor. I was dropped in as a new employee and there was 0 guidance or relevant training. I nearly quit after 6 months. I ended up being needed for another project that really challenged me and encouraged me to stay. Textron must improve its new hire training.
Textron Systems: I worked on one contract for almost 5 years, but it ended and I was layed off. However, another position became available, I applied, was contacted by the hiring manager, and back at work in two weeks. They honored my previous employment time and clearance. Win/win situation!
Textron Systems: I have had times of extreme challenge and times of celebration and learning while at Textron Systems.
Textron Systems: They are approachable and care about the company
Textron Systems: I like my team and I like my work. I have a sufficient amount of autonomy in my work. I wouldn't call the tech I work with cutting edge, or even modern, but I do learn new things all the time. Pretty neutral opinion of the company on a whole.
Textron Systems: Kinda boring, but high enough pay to be ok with it
Clarivate: secured, sustained, self-esteemed - simply superb
Textron Systems: I've had substantial training and been able to adequately perform my position in a timely manner. There are a lot of learning opportunities to improve my knowledge and skills in the future.
Textron Systems: Too much work with too few people, Higher management is wishy washy with decisions and it puts us on extremely short deadlines. Communication is poor and program management, depending on the program, is borderline incompetent. I would leave but my department is already short staffed. I'd feel bad.
Textron Systems: I would recommend Textron as a whole. At DHV (MD) there is a lack of investment that concerns me. Still I think there is plenty of opportunity and I believe mangment is working hard to fix some issues.
Textron Systems: I really have loved working for Textron. I have friends in Real Estate, Consulting, Banking, and even at other companies in Defense, who all despise their roles. I on the other hand really enjoy my role, have a great work life balance, a manager who is always reasonable, and enjoy coming to work.
Textron Systems: For a smaller defense company that makes cool products it is a shame to see their management style stuck in the 20th century. Employees are flocking to jobs where we are given the responsiblity to get our tasks done how and from where we are most comfortable. Retention is terrible
Textron Systems: medical and dental insurance is cheaper
Textron Systems: I have had a great experience with Textron. My career has grown more than I expected it to in a relatively short period of time, and I love the projects that I am working on and the people that I work with.
Textron Systems: The company has always taken steps to take care of individuals.
Textron Systems: Not sure. Nothing really stands out
Textron Systems: Everyone is really friendly with me.
Textron Systems: more competitive salaries / raises. healthcare that didn't make it annoyingly hard to find good in-network providers.
Day Translations: As a freelancer I work with occasional projects but the project manager and her team are just amazing!! They always support you and the way they guide me with the task is very professional and extremely kind. I always enjoy working with them even with rush projects. A truly great company
BairesDev: It really depends on the client you get assigned to.
Crunch Fitness: Great models for starting trainers and experienced trainer looking to grow!
Corbion: Good culture. Must be prepared to work hard, however, working hard and being good at your job is rewarded.
Acelero Learning: I have been challenged, mentored, and encouraged to grow every step of my journey.
Acelero Learning: Very positive. Learned about education, economic development, and social services in southwestern Wisconsin. Developed skills necessary to fulfill my role. Appreciate being part of a diverse organization that values Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In all, good growth opportunity for me personally.
Acelero Learning: I left my former employer because I was very unhappy with the poor values demonstrated by senior leadership and the abusive leadership style of the CEO. Acelero has shown me that it is possible to have the complete opposite work environment and colleagues that exemplify the organization's values

Oak Street Health: I love working at Oak Street. It's exciting to be a part of rebuilding healthcare as it should be.

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant: Women beware CH pays male employees more than females for the same job title and experience. Toxic degrading managers. The open door policy is really leaving the door open for management to tell you how wonderful they are and how much they've done for you while finding a way to blame you.

Mitel Networks: I love to work in Mitel as I always get to learn something new.
Epicor Software: 401k match is competitive and vests instantly
Hatton National Bank Plc: A connected company culture that has a sense of belonginging. This is easy to achieve the common goals of the bank.
Stewart's Shops: You are basically overworked for little pay. The manages don’t really care about what you have going on outside of work but they expect you to care about them. I thought this would be great side job while in school, but I dread coming into work. Extremely toxic work environmen

HubSpot: HubSpot is a better place to work than most. Employees have autonomy, the culture is generally supportive, and we have a great product. That being said, we're struggling with scale. I'm seeing cracks in our operational process (crushing some employees across the back office) and communications.
HubSpot: Really good health insurance coverage and pricing
HubSpot: They're supportive and care about one another.
Vacasa: Poor management, none are capable of leading, would help if they came to work to see what us going on instead of working from home
HubSpot: I love it! The culture code is the best I have ever seen, And UGJ (use good judgement) makes you feel trusted rather than having pages and pages of rules for everything
Chick-fil-A: My operator has the best intentions but the director of operations teamed up with other leaders is always putting team members down so no one reallygrows and ends up being “team member’s fault” for not “asking more”, when for them showing you want to grow in the company is getting them
HubSpot: Best job I’ve had. A great place to learn and grow as a human as well as an employ
