Too much politics, too many layers of management. Talk out of both sides of their mouth. They claim to be ethical but I know of two examples where a VP should be fired but wasn't because they made money for Allstate.
What would you most like to see improved at your company?
reduce the amount of management.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My immediate boss is understanding, compassionate, encouraging, and supportive. Leaders above are incompetent.
What makes you most happy at work?
My boss and a few folks that I work with at our vendor.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They are self-centered and lack focus on their impact to the entire organization.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
It starts with the top. What is said needs to be implemented. They talk about leading from any seat but in reality that's a false statement.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am a subject matter expert in my field. One of two people of thousands that do what I do specifically for the company, yet I am forced to work through leadership rather than be placed in a role of leadership.
