Like most companies there are good and bad about the work. With a large company a lot depends on the department. IT was a terrible group with a out of touch CIO who overworks and underpays and could care less about addressing workplace issues and ethics violations.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
You'll never get a decent raise but the bonuses are good.
What makes you most happy at work?
My direct coworkers make it easy to come in every day.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Seeing the people in the organization and not just the numbers.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My little team was awesome with a great culture and supportive coworkers until they laid off the majority of them.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
There needs to be a leadership overhaul, bring in people that are innovative and understand how to build a positive and Agile organization not rely on controlling legacy leaders to change it - they can't.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Asking people questions appropriate for their role and relaxing the requirements that make it difficult to move up in the organization. We lost so many great female leaders in IT because they couldn't pass a java coding exam.
