Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
American Express has really gone down hill ever since they started outsourcing. So many valuable Employees and Team Leaders were sadly let go. Such a shame! Don't fire Employees for bad survey's. Don't add it as a major metric. It's sad to think that you get fired because of surveys. Shame!

My team leader always takes the customers side even before hearing the whole story. There is a lack of helpfulness from my team leader

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
American Express gives you so much vacation which is awesome, however you can never get time off. Also the bonus structure is not fare for the employer. AMX just doesn’t want to pay bonuses
