More stock options would encourage longer term employee commitment and would dovetail nicely with strategic objectives.
Employees in NYC make those working in other locations feel second class. They tend to take credit on the backs of others in non NYC locales.
Way too many cutbacks impacting employee morale. Even if you feel appreciated by your direct leader you know deep down that their leadership couldn't care less about you as an employee.
There is way too much turnover. In my service center where there were 1500 employees at one time, now it's about half that and the company appears to care much more about getting by today than planning for the future. More so than anything, I feel AXP is in a downward spiral.
