Based on feedback from 22 American Express employees about sign on bonuses, 59% said “I didn't receive a signing bonus.”In the case of employees at American Express who did receive a bonus the most common sign on bonus received was $10,000+. Employees with a Master's degree were most likely to receive a $10,000+ sign on bonus, whereas those with a Bachelor's degree were most likely to receive no sign on bonus. Lastly, employees at American Express' New York office were most likely to receive a sign on bonus, in comparison to employees at American Express' Miami, FL office who were least likely to receive a signing bonus.
