I am impressed with the strong commitment to preserve the Arista values, which make Arista unique and bold enough to be different and do the right thing.

Don't tell me directly that you don't care if I live or die when I am asking for a reasonable accommodation that does not cost the company money or affect my performance. Pay me a competitive salary. Have some form of career progression.

Mechanical engineering team manager with the initials RW should be trained to create a positive work environment. Micro-managing and being rude to your team members and treating junior team members as incapable is not constructive. It destroys morale, motivation, and creates a toxic work environment

The leadership tries hard within the limits to help with work life balance. I think they could do better with salaries, though.

RSSUs, ANET is a well performed stock and RSSU is a very helpful part of the package for me.

No clear guidelines on how someone can grow within the company. Annual salary increments are negligible with possibility of stock refreshers being the only change.

I wold love it if the company provides lunches every day. I'm in the Nashua office and we get lunches two days a week and are supposed to have lunch on one day. If the company provides lunches every day it would greatly reduce the time I spend on cooking and just would make life so much easier.

better salary, better yearly bonus and RSUs grant, better 401k matching

Pay me a competitive salary. Give me health benefits that actually work. Health insurance costs me 4x of what it did at me previous job for only 25% of the coverage, for the most expensive option. Prior authorization policies keep my family from getting essential medication.

The team is collaborative and open. I enjoy being part of a company that treats new coworkers with grace & respect.
Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 15 days ago
Many of my team members are quick to volunteer to do things that need doing, without being asked first.
Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 16 days ago
This company has no internal culture. If you don't already have friends you will never get them. Anyone outside my team is incredibly hostile towards communication, despite them not documenting things, or putting out intentionally misleading documentation.

Bring same level of intensity to work as demonstrated by executive team.
Review from Engineering Dept
Good managers create a positive working environment where employees are happy and content and treat each other with respect. Bad managers create the exact opposite work culture
Review from Engineering Dept
Arista way, no one is making you feel out of place but rather it is a team with a common goal and everyone is trying their best to achieve this goal.

What makes me the happiest is being surrounded by like-minded people who care about network engineering. Though I'm new, everyone I've interacted with so far is a perfect balance of innovate but realistic.

I was hired into a group acquired as a startup - there is resistance in the group towards adopting some new practices that would improve quality of results but also slow down development.

There are no colors in the office. It is black and white, concerning people and the environment. Snack bar has unhealthy options, there is no sun light in the office. No breakfast, lunch, or dinner offerings.
