Great prior to pandemic. Then they let go senior talent significantly impacting all business areas
Review from Engineering Dept
Management doesn't have a coordinated vision about the future
Review from Engineering Dept
Communication skills and in depth contemplation.
Review from Engineering Dept
Leadership is very nice. The policies are well set.
Review from Engineering Dept
Diverse and open communication. Good focus on behaviors and little micro-management using strict deliverables - Say-Do. Get Results, get rewarded! Unlimited Vacation Policy and mature approach to Working From Home for usually Essential R&D Employees.

Profit Driven with Cost Savings
Review from Engineering Dept
Nothing really good to say
Review from Engineering Dept
Hands on management with proven track record rather then useless non technical management which drives the company ion the wrong direction by inexperience. Having 1:1 meetings weekly, inimidating the good employees is not the way to go.
Review from Engineering Dept
Rehire senior talent as they have done for kow talent employees
Review from Engineering Dept
Developing a vision for the future that is longer than 1-2 financial quarters. Technology development funding is erratic and difficult to plan around
Review from Engineering Dept
Listening to the people doing the day to day operations is the biggest one, but pretty much everything about them can use some improvement.
Review from Engineering Dept
Don't place people on improvement plans when you don't actually know what their job is.
Review from Engineering Dept
Good and paid for worth
Review from Engineering Dept
Package is on par and fully fixed pay

Matching 401k with Honeywell Stock - we are strong!
Review from Engineering Dept
Fair compensation for my location and role
Review from Engineering Dept
I know I am currently paid 20% less than other companies and we have marginally good benefits
Review from Engineering Dept
Compensation is not the only topic here, it is the overall quality which will suffer by losing the know how skill, let the non-qulified management run the company future, while enjoying the power and compensations they get.
Review from Engineering Dept
Health plan is relatively expensive for a big company. It feels like the annual raises are too low to want to stay with the company for a whole career. Maybe they expect people to leave after a few years because they become dissatisfied with the low raises.
Review from Engineering Dept
Regular annual increases and bonus
Review from Engineering Dept
When you go above and beyond you're rewarded with "not fast enough" and expected to do even more with even less. No one says "good job" youre just constantly pushed to do more with very little, if any, support. Honeywell pays on average 20% below insustry standard.
Review from Engineering Dept
Upper management is completely disconnected from the realities in the field, expectations and requests are generally irrational and when you ask for help you are being ignored or left to figure it out on your own.
Review from Engineering Dept
Working together as a family
Review from Engineering Dept
The team is very helpful and friendly.
Review from Engineering Dept
I have some great teammates, and I feel we work well together. However, some teammates hamper productivity and have been doing so for years, but the company won't let them go for some reason.
Review from Engineering Dept
Globally diverse team help overcome the less than optimal domestic, lower-paid team.
Review from Engineering Dept
I work with some very knowledgeable people whom I have a lot from over the years. They genuinely care about the work they do.
Review from Engineering Dept
There is limited team effort or team work. Sure some teams work better than others, but when it comes to working directly with production it's just finger pointing and 0 collaboration.
Review from Engineering Dept
Honeywell needs to stop setting teams against each other.
Review from Engineering Dept
Focus on customer needs, even if it risks internal feedback that internal goals are not met.
Review from Engineering Dept
My coworkers do not need improvement. Forcing the conversation in this survey is the very thing wrong with corporate management teams. Mandates but no communication (that's a two-way concept) - but this too must be necessary for an "international" company.
Review from Engineering Dept
Our company is very geographically distributed across multiple sites and countries. Requires a lot of off-hours meetings. Would need to co-locate work so that we could meet face-to-face.
Review from Engineering Dept
Attention to detail and encouraged hard work
Review from Engineering Dept
The best part is learning new things everyday
Review from Engineering Dept
Diverse and focused. The culture promotes collaboration and making meeting as effective as possible. We are all connected on MS Teams and we have the choice of using Analytics for coaching etc.
Review from Engineering Dept
Great collaboration via multi-discipline teams
Review from Engineering Dept
Independent, Respectful and Fast Pace
Review from Engineering Dept
Leverage on US incentives to bring best talent back to the company
Review from Engineering Dept
They need to stop running a culture of fear, compensate employees better, not just the executives, and be more flexible with where you actually do your work (WFH is not allowed)
Review from Engineering Dept
People should take ownership of their mistakes and correct them, not just point fingers or blame others.
Review from Engineering Dept
Honeywell needs to understand their employees are people with lives.
Review from Engineering Dept
Stop making your workers feel undervalued. Actually promote people and give them raises. It would be nice if shareholders weren't number one in all things. Even customers are taken advantage of.
Review from Engineering Dept
my interview took 4 hours it was done on site.
Review from Engineering Dept
Site visit, meeting with many future coworkers, and plant tour.
Review from Engineering Dept
They had you interview with all disciplines including HR, Leadership, Technicians, Product Managers and R&D.
Review from Engineering Dept
Made me excited to work there. A few lies about the progression helped
Review from Engineering Dept
Predictable questions, not difficult to answer
Review from Engineering Dept
To be consistently overseen by HR
Review from Engineering Dept
My interview was like this: so you know x, y,z. Ok, good. Then I waited 2 months for them to give me an answer and another 3 to actually start working.
Review from Engineering Dept
Make it face to face
Review from Engineering Dept
Add technical evaluation in addition to behavioral evaluation.
Review from Engineering Dept
Deal with high visibility design work which is not always available because of contracts being lost.
Review from Engineering Dept
Interactions with my colleagues and the technical challenges of the work.
Review from Engineering Dept
Having access to resources that are rudimentary to the job and the people who make the progress much more enjoyable.
Review from Engineering Dept
Providing solutions to resolve problems/issues

End Racial discrimination and provide fair training.
Review from Engineering Dept
Change in top leadership to former top executives
Review from Engineering Dept
Senior leadership needs to change.
Review from Engineering Dept
Lack of ownership, hostile environment
Review from Engineering Dept
Back off on unrealistically fast schedules and pressure to deliver. Pay/promote employees who are driving company success.
