They are pretty good at sitting down and listening to their employees who are under them about our suggestions and requests, which is great. But more times than not, the bulk of our suggestions and requests rarely come to fruition which can lead to less than stellar morale.

Leadership has the worst communication I've ever seen. Emails get ignored, issues are tabled until it's too late to solve them, and there's no support for the ICs. The level of tribalism is unbelievable too.

They should actually care about the well being of new employees and offer some kind of onboarding support. And give me a desk and phone. And some training on how to do my Job rather than just some advertisements about how great Raytheon is would be beneficial.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

Salaries and signing bonuses are high to offset their terrible reputation and work environment. The only reason to work for Raytheon is to lock in a high compensation and then immediately get out once your year is up.

Salary is low with no ability for growth. Talent is leaving at a high rate and there is a lack of suitable replacements

After picking up significant responsibility (above pay grade), managing people (above pay grade), receiving recognition awards, and glowing reviews from coworkers/project managers, I have only received a 0.9% market adjustment to my salary. Other companies have offered double for similar roles.

I feel undervalued because of the slack I pick up when my bosses are not able to keep up with changes is not recognized and the path for compensation growth is narrow and rigid based on very general requirements that do not consider impact made to the company.
