What do you like best about the leadership team?
Even before, but especially during the pandemic, the lines of communication with employees have been open and active. The leadership team also works to maintain an inclusive culture.

I appreciate that the leadership team conveys its awareness of how events/conditions happening outside of the working world may be impacting its employees. I've been so impressed with how they have been quick to act, and to put measures in place to help where they can.

Mediocre compensation, health insurance and 401(k) match. 1.5%? Seriously?

If the company wants to retain talent, it needs to understand exactly the talent it has and compensate accordingly. There are a lot of journo jobs right now, and some people here are frustrated with the sub-par compensation and benefits.

The maternity leave is only two weeks, living costs in NYC have dramatically risen and we don't get a salary increase to match inflation. Also given we work from home, I believe we should receive benefits to reflect that, such as reimbursing our internet, cell phones, etc.

It's an inclusive culture with management making that a priority.
