Bell Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

401k with great vacancy & PTO.

Review from Engineering Dept

Fair salary compared to other similar industries in the area.

Review from Engineering Dept

my 401K and my medical benefits

Review from Product Dept

9/80 work week with 5-6 weeks of PTO a year

Review from Engineering Dept

You get paid for the hours you work due to the shortage of personnel.

Review from Admin Dept

It seems pretty reasonable to me

Review from Engineering Dept

My annual bonus and annual salary.

Review from Engineering Dept

10 days of available personal time off is fantastic because it allows us to take care of our families because sickness always comes! I don't feel as 'squeezed' in fighting through sickness, taking special care for family when these times come up, and getting my work done.

Review from Engineering Dept

Excellent compensation and good Heathcare!

Review from Operations Dept

I'm very happy with my salary and 401k matching.

Review from Operations Dept

Vacation time and Paid Time Off.

Review from Product Dept

The vacation days and personal time off.

Review from Sales Dept

Pension and match on the 401k plan.

Review from Engineering Dept

9/80 Fridays off and Holidays

Review from Operations Dept

I think Vacation and PTO allowance is pretty good.

Review from Engineering Dept

Great health insurance, the wellness center and pharmacy on site and great salary

Review from Operations Dept

Access to Fidelity Brokerage Link.

Review from Engineering Dept

Compensation and benefits are competitive.

Review from Engineering Dept

Retirement package is a great benefit for myself.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Annual bonus is generally good.

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The DFW aviation/rotorcraft market is far ahead of Bell in terms of compensation, benefits, work from home, and career paths for progression. Bell seems to be about 2 generations behind the industry curve. Not a good thing to be showing the world when we just won the largest Army program to-date.

Review from Engineering Dept

NOT BEING TREATED EQUALLY BY MANANGEMENT AND BENEFITS COULD BE BETTER IF WE HAD BETTER UNION REPRESENTATION INSTEAD OF THE JOKE WE HAVE NOW

Review from Product Dept

Lowest pay scale in the company with the highest maintained certificates.

Review from Operations Dept

It is below market average for a financial analyst.

Review from Finance Dept

That will be discussed during contract.

Review from Product Dept

my job directly affects the business would like to be paid a little bit better.

Review from HR Dept

A lot of people around me have left the company successfully obtaining raises due to the past few years of huge inflation. Bell has hinted at an adjustment, but I have only seen a few people get adjusted and they have all been junior level folks. I'm feeling the need to seek an adjustment soon someh

Review from Operations Dept

12 years working and still haven't reached the first top out. I'm thankful for the new top out but it will take me 7 more years to get there.

Review from Operations Dept

It is not a secret that other companies in aerospace/aviation pay better. Transparency on the justification of salaries could be better though.

Review from Finance Dept

better health benefits and need gym membership

Review from Engineering Dept

More compensation for the job performed, and aligned across the company as a whole.

Review from Operations Dept

Free time is more valuable than money. WFH should be an option for top performers.

Review from Engineering Dept

My pay and workload is not comparable to others in my line of work. I'm underpaid for what I'm expected to do with far less team and resources to get the job done. We are burning people out at both ends, and that is not being shown on an HR chart. Its being swept under the rug.

Review from Operations Dept

Have comparable compensation to Pantex (Amarillo TX). We loose a lot of talented people to them.

Review from Engineering Dept

The pay gap between each level of leadership is very minimal which does not create a lot of drive to promote. In some cases, it is a step down in pay but a step up in leadership.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel valued by my management, but the pay does not keep up. The prices of everything in this economy continue increasing and pay adjustments are but once a year. It's less noticeable for those without families, but I have a wife and four kids. Also, the work I perform is higher than my position.

Review from Engineering Dept

We put to much focus on non-monetary compensation such as paid time off. Inflation has risen @ 7% in 2021, 6.5% in 2022 and is pacing to be around 4% for 2023 while salaries have risen by approximately 3% YOY for the same period.

Review from Operations Dept

I am not so much worried about my salary as a leader as I am about the firefighters that work in our department. The low starting pay and even lower top-out pay makes it difficult for us to attract and especially retain certified firefighters.

Review from Legal Dept

From October 2014 to October 2024 I've gotten $7.44 in monetary compensation. That is 18.07% in TEN YEARS. Inflation based government C.P.I. in those 10 years is 38.4%. So my income has GONE DOWN 20.33% compared to inflation in the last 10 years. It's even worse if you go back 15 years.

Review from Operations Dept

More money when putting in years in the industry is met along with education level. If you don't want to pay more, then give more time off to balance out or pay for full education after being here for a few years.
