What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is a true care of teammates in every decision made. Not always the popular decision but I've personally seen them wrestle with decisions and how the decision will impact teammates.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Currently we have no incentive to be an outstanding employee. Our bonus program is not based on performance and promotions are few and far between. This makes me question why I should continue to go above & beyond if a colleague would reap the same benefits for doing the bare minimum.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The VIP program is a really nice benefit. While not guaranteed, it shows investment in the teammate.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Before Bridgestone I worked in an industry that underpaid me and it was the only industry I knew. When I interviewed at Bridgestone I lowballed myself b/c I didn't know what salaries were like in this industry. I often wonder if I am making a salary that is comparable to my colleagues.

Duties expected go far beyond job description/market expectations for job title, level and compensation. Disadvantaged by the corporate rules of pay increase caps, lack of spot bonus clarity.

Everyone in our COE is committed to excellence and while working really hard, they all keep a positive outlook.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Acknowledgment that people can and do work hard even remotely (or sometimes especially remotely). The ability to work from home allows flexibility in the day and an environment that's not always 'charged' with energy.
