Outside workers will NOT complete their jobs as needed for the day. Materials received are left everywhere in yard /walkways which are safety concerns and they just stamp documents without verify orders that arrived and toss papers in a bin. They expect me to fix all these issues! I have my OWN JOB
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Yard workers DONT want to work and deal with customers. Inside sales workers are constantly making paper errors on sales receipt so customers are back and fourth trying to get right paperwork.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They need to stop hiding in bathroom or other areas. Stop socializing all day in shack and sending one person out to deal with customers and loads by self. If my coworkers would JUST DO there jobs like a few years back it was such a organized work place.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Hire GM's that care about the workers and the jobs given and to make sure things are being done correctly. I think a good GM can really bring in good customers if he has a good organized work team which will in return bring in the money for the company.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It been a few years since I started. I liked the honesty of what I was asked to do and what my title was and how I can move up in company if I stayed. The overall interview was very positive and of course that was with a prior GM.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have been working more than just my job on everyday bases. I have not seen a pay raise in a couple years to even pay what I was told my position would be paid. I feel as if I am wasting time . I am a hard worker and yet expected to do a 5 man job daily. Thats NOT right
