We are talking 30 years, so I am vested. But I have seen this place go downhill fast. People matter yall. The little folks are what makes this place work. Because of them you get a paycheck. It's time to stop treating folks like they are an employee id #.
The hardworking ladies around me!
We, in these four walls, look out for each other.
I believe the company does try to be employee focused.
I am not sure what leadership team this is refering to.
Not a whole lot these days. The air is pretty thick and down right now.
I work with the team of folks that are here at least 8-5 Monday - Friday making things happen! They are some of the least paid and least acknowledged but they ROCK!
I am not sure which leadership team you are referring to. However, it seems that upper management (not local) is out of touch with basic business practices... I mean what it takes to make this business work on a day to day basis. The personnel and training to get the work done.
Morale is terrible. Folks constantly being forced to step up and do more with little to no "thanks". Constant feeling that you could lose your job at any time. Show some appreciation! Invest in your people! Folks working from home cause more work for those who show up daily. Period. Ask us!
I don't believe people in our area are paid by the work they do, the actual showing up and getting the job done. It is a fact that the better paid folks are "working from home", not showing up, and banking on the work of others. I can only speak for the market I work in. It is crazy.
Not only to be paid based on my peers - folks in similar but to have merit-based pay (I am a woman and yes, I am going there) Not just an everyone gets the same thing. You do a good job - your raise reflects that. There should be an incentive for folks who report in daily (not work remotely).
