I have never enjoyed working for a company as much as I do Builders FirstSource. I really feel that my time and skills are appreciated here, I feel that I am paid fairly, and the amount of license I have to manage myself is perfectly applied to me as an individual. BFS is a career, not just a job.

What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are transparent and are never short of praise or redirection when needed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The energy from our General Manager and Assistant General Manager runs down through the team in a good way.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I earned a merit-based raise last year which was completely unasked for. It's this kind of thing that keeps me working for this company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are mostly all on the same page. There are a few who would rather complain rather than get work done, but overall the team is fantastic.
