
The company needs to quit taking from us--wages, benefits, break times etc. Stop looking for reasons to discipline people.
Embrace the union mentality. Do not "rat out" coworkers. Blame the company, not the union, for our losses in wages and benefits.
They continue to pile on more work and responsibilities to our job duties. They basically need to treat production employees better in all aspects.
Cat has a two tiered wage system. The bottom tier has gotten a few minimal increases, while the top tier hasn't had a raise in 25 plus years. I work a lot of overtime and am barely "treading water", while management and shareholders are raking in huge salaries, bonuses and dividends.
