How flexible is your work schedule at CDK Global?
The company's official "policy" is that employees have to be in the office working during business hours, never outside business hours, with some exceptions up to manager discretion. Hourly employees have no flexibility, other than occasionally working remotely on an approved as-needed basis. Salaried employees have more flexibility, and with manager approval can work remotely or work different hours more freely.

How innovative is CDK Global?
not very- our products are out of date
It's not. It is all for show. Everything on the backend is pretty chaotic. half the people dont know what they are doing, specific teams can't even collaborate on issues because we are running two different systems. Nobody knows what other people actually do.
How are the benefits at CDK Global for employees in Engineering?
Benefits are average
they keep taking them away. I now have to pay for parking, health insurance is way more expensive this year, no work phone, no paid internet, took bonuses away..
What's the pay like for Engineering roles at CDK Global?
Varies drastically depending on manager, group and your personal relationships with your manager. I’ve seen engineers with the same title with as much as a 40k pay difference.

As our CTO says: we run like a start up, expect to work 18 hours a day, 6 days a week.

That I'm still employed after all the lay offs.

What's the company culture like at CDK Global?
Really depends on where you work and who you work with... huge company with vastly different cultures all over the world.
Tries to hard to be cutting edge and contemporary buisness environment with "collaboration" being the primary push. Massive layoffs to bring in younger, cheaper employees that are just put of college/high school. Would work great if everything the company sells/supported wasn't legacy technologies.
What does the leadership team at CDK Global need to get better at?
Understanding what it really takes in our company to deliver a solution to our customer.
Care about the products we sell and not getting the stock price to 75 dollars, and then they cash out, the company gets sold off in pieces.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation at CDK Global?
Too low for the amount of hours worked. At least if you are on salary.
No management support or involvement, only care about expense management
Play any sports or do you guys do any other team stuff for bonding?
Not really, it's. It that kind if company since it became cdk.
We have outings but it's more like a company wide thing. Our team specifically doesnt have any. It depends on your manager and your department.
Are there any attractive people in your office?
ha. No.
There's a few, but I wouldn't say it's a bunch of "pretty" people walking around here.
do you find your job rewarding?
No.
Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don't. Again, it's become more of "just a job" for me.
What do you like best about the leadership team at CDK Global?
It's new and the jury is still out

What needs to change to make the company culture better at CDK Global?
We've gone through so many changes in the last few years... everybody seems to have the fear they could lose their job via a RIF at any time
