It has been great since day one. As an IC at other companies you sometimes feel excluded from important discussions and decisions. N/A - I think Chegg does a great job at fostering a fun and collaborative culture.

Salary is very competitive, PTO policy is generous, great healthcare benefits, and they provide lots of other little perks that add up as well like Fringe points and discounts
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are free to be their unique selves. It sounds cliche but it's true. There is a fun diversity to our company which adds to the feeling of safety, freedom, and creativity.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel undervalued money wise. Sometimes I feel like they have reduced the workforce so much that everyone is doing the work of 2 or 3 people, but we are compensated well.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are inclusive and transparent. We are kept up to date on all company changes and goals. They include us in things and show that they trust us and treat us as valuable individuals no matter our position in the company.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We are paid very well for what we do. Not only that, the extra benefits that we are provided with are amazing. Chegg goes above and beyond the normal healthcare benefits and provides support for mental health, fertility treatments, and more.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has been great since day one. They are friendly, fun, and passionate about the work they do. They are always supportive and there to lend a helping hand. As the newbie on the team, they made me feel welcome.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Some of my coworkers could be better at communicating throughout the day. As a fully remote team, it's important to be able to get status updates, etc. I don't like pointless meetings, but quick slack updates are helpful and some people tend to be absent there.
