Compensation wise I think it could be better otherwise I'm very happy with what I do.
What makes you most happy at work?
The goal of the company makes me happy because it is in line with what I want to do. Moreover, my colleagues :)
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Regular engagement courtesy of our HR team. This helps us interact with people from different teams and understand their side of work which builds a positive work culture. Also, transperancy within and outside the team.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The best part about the leadership team at Chegg is that they communicate very clearly and have strong organizational skills. Moreover, they are open to suggestions irrespective of your position in the company which shows they are respectful as well.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best thing about working at Chegg is that we follow the goal of "one team." This exemplifies that the team is cooperative and willing to take responsibility and overcome the shortcomings of others to give an amazing end product.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm undervalued because I've prior experience in my field of work and yet that is sometimes not taken into consideration. This to some extent suggests there is inequality in pay. In 2yr compensation has not been aligned with my core work performance. With great profit, there should be great pay rise
