Constantly changing. Work environment, management is more concerned with "looking good" gor their managers than the guest experience. Server duties are unevenly split and cater to the closing shit servers making ALL the money as the earlier cut shifts will handle all of the cleaning for them.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I scheduled my interview at the time if my application.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Professionalsm and understanding that the kitchen can be heard in the dining area. Being able to locate management.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Managing and delegatng tasks. Can't seem to find a amanger tontalk to guests or get any assistance for Front of House.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The guest's being genuine people. After your week shadowing people you will begin to work on your own. But don't expect assistance from management, they're busy promoting cooks to management and cooking. They dont have time for guest interaction or helping servers get comfortable with their position
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
When the general mangers show up, have them actually be useful instead of aitting and eating and then getting in the way in the kitchen. They're a part of the problem.. they dont seem to know the menu either, when they try to do QA it ALWAYS gets backed up.. and theyre back there eating anyway..
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It would be nice to make more than minimum wage and not soend half if a shift cleaning for the people that get to stay on to make all of the money and not have anything to clean when they're done. The new "runner" position made my earnings drop below minimum wage. Talking to manager = sent home.
