My team is more than GEM scores. Interactions with guests and ability to keep a calm head AND be helpful is more important than random equations. I'd rather work with someone willing to help me when I'm weeded than someone who takes their own GEMs after running their guests card.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Caring about more than money and numbers. We are people dealing with the public. Not everything can be fixed by "sorry, here's $10 BOG". We run out of to go boxes and cups, which have drastically gotten horrible over the years. It takes weeks to get working microwaves, chip warmers, fryers..
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Again. Quit with the crazy algorithms. Having a long time on the screen might be bad. Bumping it to get the time down then not working the check looks good on paper but honestly doesn't get food out any faster. Neither does cheaper products. It's noticable. And makes me despise company executives.
