Overall I'd say it's been fairly depressing. Over the years I've been there (4 1/2) I've hoped it would get better but it's only gotten worse. Still no paid vacations for full-time hourly employees, health insurance has gotten more expensive and out of reach and pay has only increased minimally.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There are no positives. Everyone is miserable and just wants to leave.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Full-time hourly employees aren't given paid vacations and our health insurance options are out of reach because our pay is embarrassingly low.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Start taking care of your heart of house hourly employees. We have no paid vacation time, health insurance is too expensive and our pay is too low.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
It's hard to feel motivated to go to work when you feel like corporate doesn't care enough about you to offer paid vacations, affordable benefits or better pay.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Low pay brings in the bottom-of-the-barrel employees. They don't care about the job because the pay is so low. They know if they get fired or quit and go anywhere else and make the same amount of money.
