This company used to be absolutely fantastic. I loved coming to work, the work load was balanced and the people in higher positions CARED and it showed. After the change in leadership and Covid this company took a HORRIBLE turn and almost every person see's and feels it. They lie to save their jobs.
What are some of the best things about your team?
In our patch we reach out to each other for support and guidance. Sister locations maintain a good relationship and our boss is fantastic at keeping us together.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Give us training labor, or increase the labor were allotted. Chipforce is a broken system that doesn't work. Half of the GM's refuse to speak up because we've seen what happens in this company when people speak out about issues. They're silenced, and if they cause to much commotion they're removed.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Labor decrease. Work increase. More restrictions and less support. Give training labor. Fix Chipforce or get rid of it. Don't allot 30$ in waste a day for 6k a day when food costs are skyrocketing. Stop letting people who dont run stores or have no experience in them make decisions they have no clue
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Between the constant new roll outs, stricter expectations, less labor and money allotted for us to use, etc. Its starting to feel like this job is IMPOSSIBLE to run at a CTM or R level let alone GM without sacrificing our work life balance. Were forced to work more to make up for the lack of help.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people from the older generation of Chipotle who knew what it meant to actually care about the people and not pinch for pure profit while putting up a front. I knew GM's of 16 years get let go without a care in the world and they were FANTASTIC at their job but spoke up again awful changes.
