I started out as a crew and worked my way up to apprentice over 3 years. I love my store, my role, and my team. It is hard now because I cannot offer them fair wages. Surronding suburban stores and new chains are offering more. My team is tired and are leaving for more money.

Training new employees and managers. Creating a strong team and culture.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are all friends and work together to make this job easier.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are close and hold each other accountable. We are all in similar age and work well together.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I work in the city store that makes more sales than near by suburban stores. We are busier and excute better, but get paid much less. Bridge the wage gap.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They value a team enviroment and try to put me first and provide me with what opprotunities they can because coporate will not. They advocate for change the best they can.
