What makes you most happy at work?
The team members. I love making burritos and serving the nice customers but I just feel not appreciated by the company because of how little we are paid.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to give us pay raises. The CEO makes too much money compared to the employees who actually does the work. Why does the CEO get so many bonuses and we don't.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are always positive even when everything is going wrong. We always work together and help each other. We do our best at our job with what we're given. Even if customers are screaming at us we remain professional and follow the blast protocols and have to deal with it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I get paid less than living wage in my area and I only get a 30 cent raise every few months. We had to deal with so much during the pandemic and even our measly ten percent raise was taken away from us. The company only cares about profits and won't pay us a living wage.
