Depends heavily on store managers. The job is easy but there's a lot of little things that add up to weigh down everything from upper managements unreal expectations to customers treating you like trash.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They're doing their best but a majority of them are teens. Raise wages and get some adults in here.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
A lot of the managers put in a lot of work to make up for people who have not yet been trained to a certain degree.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The job itself is easy. But its the volume of work sometimes. It's not fun and I don't get paid enough for my work or having to deal with customers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay rate is stagnating while upper management makes enough money to comfortably live. Working long hours, sometimes understaffed and still having to meet standards. No help from FL's or above. I'd feel better about my compensation if I was compensated fairly.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
FL's should be at stores more often to make sure the standards are being followed instead of taking a backseat. TD's should be more communicative with their teams. Some stores have had to be understaffed and overworked all while being told to "push through". Raise the wages.
