Management is simply horrible. Fix everything. Go back to the original roots of having employees treat the restaurant like a family business.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Yes. We're constantly understaffed and have to fill in for others when we are not originally scheduled or are available to do so. I have never gotten off work on time. I get kept on the job 2 to 3 hours past original scheduled hours each shift. I was promised a promotion over a year ago and not!
