What do you like best about the leadership team?
I value our leadership team's transparency with the company's performance (both quarterly and annually) and overall direction. It is common practice for our leadership team to solicit feedback and ideas through all-hands meetings, department-specific town halls, or ad-hoc check-ins with individuals

The amount of information communicated and transparency provided is extremely valuable. I've never experienced such a stellar leadership team in my career thus far.

Always accessible and no egos. Always willing to help and provide feedback or remove hurdles. No one is perfect, but the EFFORT made my the leadership team is the best I have seen in a long time. Leaders here will PUSH you to be the best, but they are also willing to be in the hustle with you.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Despite having to pivot to a 24/7 remote setting, our team has been able to consistently cultivate a collaborative atmosphere that encourages creative ideation and ensures that every voice is heard.

We have a small team so it's critical that everyone pulls their weight to achieve shared goals - and that is truly the case. We each take ownership of certain tasks or projects, but there's a feeling of 'we're all in this together'.

A very diverse group of folks who are all marching towards a common goal. DO NOT underestimate how important that is. The worst thing is to have a bunch of smart folks with no common goal...not the case here. They all understand the goal and work hard towards it.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Cleo has built itself on a platform of organic growth and internal promotions - there are many people who began their career here at Cleo and climbed up the ladder into manager/director roles. There is also low attrition within the org which leads to closer colleague relationships.

Accomplishments are celebrated and are not overlooked (by team members, management or leadership). I've never felt discouraged because I know that if I can overcome any challenge with the help of my colleagues.

We are a learning culture. No one (to my knowledge) has been fired for making a mistake. Making mistakes is okay, as long as you learn from them. When you do not learn from mistakes (or keep repeating them), you are being irresponsible. And being irresponsible to the business and not tolerated.

What did you like most about the interview process?
The amount of personas that will take time to get to know canidate and really dig in as to whether or not Cleo is the right fit for that person.

It was really a mutual fit conversation. I, in fact, turned down the role because I was worried about fit. After some deeper conversations, I learned I was wrong...and here I am four years later.

My work life balance - I have two young children and I work hard during work hours but I know that once I log off, my time is respected - this level of respect is not something that I've experienced at prior companies.
