Our employees are at the heart of everything we do. It’s the thousands of talented, creative, and inspiring individuals, lending their unique voices and working together behind the scenes that fuels true innovation that impacts millions.

How employees describe working at Comcast

Love it here at CNBC! Folks here are great

Review from IT Dept

If you are a "woman or person of color" (their words not mine) you will do well as you get into management. They literally have VP bonuses based on that. People should be hired based on qualifications. Race and Gender should not be something you are measured as an employee.

Review from Sales Dept

My overall experience is I like working here because of some of the relationships that I have formed and the benefits but I am not happy with the overall structure in how the company is ran on a day to day basis.

Review from Customer Support Dept

All of the benefits are great!

Review from Customer Support Dept

It has amazing benefits and they are even paying all the upfront cost of my college tuition

  • Work life balance can be rough at times because there really is no set time to get off work I get off when all work is complete and sometimes that’s 9pm and not having the opportunity to have weekends off is inconvenient

  • Non-existent.

  • This is all up to the individuals. Comcast does not pressure their employees to work when they are with their family’s. They are more then fair. Sure on occasion we have storms that come in and we need to lend support but other than that it is really good

  • Gender is irrelevant when making a hiring decision. Competency is what matters when making a choice about who is on a team. It's also illegal to discriminate based on gender. Great teams are defined by their output not by their gender. That being said, women occupy many engineering and leadership roles in the company. To do well at Comcast, you need only to work hard.

  • Unfortunately there aren't any women on my specific team, we did currently interview a few different women to fill a position. With that being said, we do have a very diverse employee base as a whole in our company. There are quite a few successful women in our field and have great recognition within Comcast.

  • We have zero women on our team. It's very much not diverse enough.

  • Our metrics are seriously flawed,if anything goes wrong in the customers house within 30 days of our visit it comes back as a repeat on us

  • It all comes from leadership. If they don't say we can interact, then we just can't interact.

  • The team is generally good. There has been a shift to more call center and less feet on the street. Started in FL and moving west.

  • The sales teams and sales leaders are/were great people. Intelligent, professional and successful, but many wont put up with the cards they are dealt.
