How employees describe working at Comcast

Love it here at CNBC! Folks here are great

Review from IT Dept

If you are a "woman or person of color" (their words not mine) you will do well as you get into management. They literally have VP bonuses based on that. People should be hired based on qualifications. Race and Gender should not be something you are measured as an employee.

Review from Sales Dept

My overall experience is I like working here because of some of the relationships that I have formed and the benefits but I am not happy with the overall structure in how the company is ran on a day to day basis.

Review from Customer Support Dept

All of the benefits are great!

Review from Customer Support Dept

It has amazing benefits and they are even paying all the upfront cost of my college tuition

Asked to all employees at Comcast

  • Looking forward to them, it makes the business grow

  • Open minded

  • We work in a dev-ops model, so we have some members that are more dev driven and others that are more operations driven. We are very welcome to new members on our team. At least from my experience on our team, we try to leave our egos at the door and work on the projects that are given to us. New developers are there to become an extension of our day to day operations. They have to prove that they want to be part of the team.

  • The raise aren’t even enough to cover cost of living. 3% max. If you are management and try to give a high level on a review you have to write a book justifying someone deserves a 4% raise.

  • Not great. IBC and Accolade (3rd party interface that is advertised as being your advocate, but really just is a screen between IBC and the employee) seem to default to not covered so you have to fight to actually get care paid by IBC. This has been the worst health care insurance experience of my career over several companies, even small ones.

  • Amazing!!!
