How employees describe working at Comcast

Love it here at CNBC! Folks here are great

Review from IT Dept

If you are a "woman or person of color" (their words not mine) you will do well as you get into management. They literally have VP bonuses based on that. People should be hired based on qualifications. Race and Gender should not be something you are measured as an employee.

Review from Sales Dept

My overall experience is I like working here because of some of the relationships that I have formed and the benefits but I am not happy with the overall structure in how the company is ran on a day to day basis.

Review from Customer Support Dept

All of the benefits are great!

Asked to the Customer Support Department at Comcast

  • The vibe working for comcast was very very very stressful. Constant back to back calls. Little to no support for irate customers. Standard reply for " I want to speak to a supe is, they will call you back" which they almost never ever do

  • Great vibes. I work 4 x 10s

  • Fun and collaborative. It's a fast paced, dynamic environment that rewards success and supports growth through hands on development. It's an inclusive environment that welcomes new ideas to the table and it's a company willing to take risks and do what's right for the employees and for our customers. I work full time 40 hours. Comcast does pay overtime when available or requested.
