I am leaving Conduent on June 1. I've gone through 4 managers in 1 year. I've never gotten a raise or a promotion. I've put my time and sacrificed a lot with nothing reciprocated. I did not feel my career path was aligned here and never had meaningful discussions on it.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is very professional and reliable.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is transparent and seems to methodically make the decisions for the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our team tries to meet in person during the holidays since we are now all remote. We have office football pools, fantasy football, fantasy baseball and and an NCAA tournament bracket.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Most of my frustration is dealing with antiquated processes, like using MS word for app access, to get work done. We are siloed and do not help each other. Groups push back and do not do work rather than helping get work done.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There has been $0 pay increase in 3 years and no discussions of what career paths I can take to further my career and better my compensation. On the Technology side, we work late nights, crazy hours, waking up in the middle of the night for calls, all just for a "good job."
