What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
When IT staff are cut, the first things to go are things readily apparent. Network drawings, inventory tracking, strategic planning, security are the first things to go. The way to improve is to increase staffing, accountability, and enforcement of standards
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
All IT staff need to be educated about Conduent IT security policy. Many don't even know it exists. Infosec001 is for standard users. IT security policy (Conduent Information Security Standard) is something most IT people in Conduent don't even know about which is very scary.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Information Security is not valued. It is considered something that is in the way to just try to push aside. IT staff cuts are continual and it is a race to the bottom. Only a matter of time before it blows up in Conduent's face.
