Conduent – Benefits have not been good, there is little flexibility in the schedule, pay is below market, and there is no formal training. The people I work with directly are nice but most seem stressed and I feel bad for them. My direct manager is really nice so that helps somewhat. I'll miss the people most. | Comparably

What are some of the best things about your team?

They're pretty much normal people. I honestly wish I knew them better but we don't really get to interact very much.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

There are no salary increases, no incentives, no bonuses, a meager one week combined PTO/sick leave, and laughably bad healthcare benefits. As a direct result, employee turnover is extremely high. It's completely unsustainable but leadership is either mysteriously unaware or totally disengaged.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation honestly needs a complete overhaul as it is totally inadequate when juxtaposed with most any other company out there. Give people raises, create an incentive structure, reward loyalty and hard work, get healthcare plans that actually cover things without a ridiculous high deductible.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

They're really striving for a call center atmosphere instead of an IT company. A more laid back approach with better work life balance would really benefit. Embrace work-from-home. If the entire job can be done remotely, there's no need to force people to come into an office.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Approx. 95% of the problems could be resolved by totally revamping and improving compensation/benefits for all employees. It's completely fixable but if leadership is not willing to do that, the company deserves to go under. That's as honest as I can be about the current state of things.
