What makes you most happy at work?
providing for my family. as bad as the culture has become, the group i work with is exceptional.
What are some of the best things about your team?
we've been a highly efficient team for over 20 years. Our margins consistently exceed expectations. but we work well together and are better than the sum of our parts. everyone remaining on the team are very perseverant and thoroughly excellent.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
only the people i work with. a couple of years ago when it really felt like Cliff had transformed us from an embarrassing organization to something to be proud of was exciting. of course now that the culture is slipping back to not valuing employees, i don't have much positive to say about culture
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like Cliff. He was a breath of fresh air when he replaced AV. However, the excitement I had two years ago is gone. Upper and middle management are not in tune with day-to-day work requirements and are not honest when selling new work. It will take a lot to earn my trust again.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have had only good to excellent reviews, yet I'm making the same salary as I was in 2008. My old group leader was at least able to get me a 2% increase which brought me back to where i was in 2008. I would like management to fulfill its promises to add several reqs with the large wins we've had.
