The company has not given increments in almost 4 years and therefore our pay scale is below the market/industry averages now.
I do not feel undervalued. I just believe that our compensation is below industry standards. I think we need to revise our compensation structures.
We are highly focused on sales and on hiring (attracting stkeholder), but in the process are not spending enough time to invest in or retain employees or clients. This focus needs ot be brought back in to help strengthen stickyness.
Compensation and benefits have increasaed in the indsutry. So when we recruit from outside, it is at a much higher cost. This created disparity among employees who are tenured. Recalibrating caomensation for older employees at time of annual reviews and appraisals is needed.
