Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A state-mandated minimum wage requirement for computer workers is the only reason for two annual salary increases following a nearly five-year period of no increase in compensation.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
While compensation is sub-par compared to the markets where we work, and and resources are strained, everyone is on board for ensuring the success of the company and our clients.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My salary is way below the market rate, by several tens of thousands of dollars. Increases occur about every five years and do not keep up with cost of living increases.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is cohesive. We know we can turn to each other for help at any time without judgement. We share with each other things that we learn so we can be a stronger team. We are fully committed to providing the best service we can to our clients.
