She started her career at Convergys managing a contact center. Ms. Ayers served as General Manager of the Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) Business Unit, where she drove double digit revenue and operating profit growth and was responsible for the employees in domestic and international contact center locations. She served as a Business Unit President, where she led new business development efforts for Convergys' customer management services and solutions in the Government, Healthcare, Retail and Finance markets. Ms. Ayers also headed Convergys Corporation's new Relationship Technology Management (RTM) line of business focused on the development of technology-enabled solutions that improve the quality and value of interactions across live agent and self-care channels. She has been an Independent Director of Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. since December 5, 2014. She has been a Director of Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber since February 2013. She has been a Director of Convergys Corporation since October 23, 2012. Ms. Ayers earned a bachelor's degree in management and administration from Louisiana State University, Shreveport.
