Q&A With CSL Employees
CSL employees answer questions about what life is like behind the scenes at their company, including queries about culture, leadership, professional development, and compensation.
How employees describe working at CSL
The interview was one on one and welcomed my questions.
The leadership team cares about staff.
Employees and team members are good and work hard. Good work culture. However to get promoted, one needs to be strongly connected with leadership inner circle and be seen. That can be hard depending on which team one is in. Long work hours, early start and late finish sometimes. Strong politics
It's like getting paid to be abused and insulted every day of your life.

Q&A With CSL Employees

What's the Operations team like at CSL?
Favorites. If they don't like you, you are in trouble as your career is concerned.
What's the vibe like in the Operations dept at CSL? How many hours are you working?
Awful. I only work 40 but it's awful here. The pay isn't worth the work let alone the stress. And, after it's all said and done, I can't afford the basics for my family.
What kind of relocation or moving stipends does CSL offer?
Extensive. They would rather pay to move people accross the country than train local people who have worked hard to move up.
What makes you the most proud about working at CSL?
Nothing. I am ashamed to work here, honestly. I started proud to work here then you see through the PR to the truth of it. I am financially broke, emotionally taxed, physically overworked, underpaid and unappreciated daily. Am I supposed to be proud that the company turns a generous profit "helping" patients? This is the worst I have been treated by any company I've ever been with and I am not proud to admit I can't afford to take care of my family.
Is it possible to switch teams at CSL? If so, what is the process?
Seems impossible to move anywhere here. They ship people accross the country to take spots people at the center have worked toward. No point in even trying.
What is the PTO policy at CSL?
You get a fair amount based on seniority.
What perk or benefit should CSL have?
Decent pay for their employees and appreciable raises.
How are layoffs handled in the Operations department at CSL?
Lay offs? They're desperate for employees.
What do employees at CSL think about their benefits?
We have to pay a lot of money for them, and the insurance isn't very good.
What's the internship program like at CSL?
Non-existent.
How's the vacation policy at CSL?
Not bad. Get a fair amount of PTO.
How secure do you feel at your job at CSL?
Hardly. But, I've seen how hard it is for some people to get fired which is slightly reassuring.
How would you compare interviewing at CSL to other places you've interviewed?
Average.
