Direct management is good and invested. Senior executive level is disconnected and care about US growth only. There is little value for technical competence outside GT and no plan for replacing people leaving for retirement. No more HR in the company which shows how little they care about people.

my direct leader is approachable and look for interesting work to provide to employees. He gives a good motivation to the team. The executive level above is not visible at all.

Be more honest. Be more human, as only goal is to make wallstreer happy but not the employee. The company is only looking for cost reduction and not employee support and growth. No clear structured path to become executive or Senior PE, only based on who you know and who knows you.

The India team is kept with mimum wage and maximum work. Many times we raise the concerns regarding this and other perks like Extra Mile. But always we are met with no results and only more questions. We feel like our voice is never heard here.

Salaried employees pay a lot more for benefits proportionally than hourly employees. Healthcare premiums keep increasing every year but coverage seems to be reduced. Paying more at the doctor's office as well as having more taken out of paycheck. Also bonuses should not be tied to CONTRACTOR safety.

GE is great company with Values it carries but I think compare to others it paycheck should be best in class not at median level. I beleve GEV should invest more on its core resources and for the empoyees who worked here for many years.

Work from office / work from home policies are highly varied. Far more employees than office spaces, thus many employees work from home. Workforce is globally disperse thus making coworker interaction much more difficult. None of my coworkers live/work in my own regional area.

Too much "perfect world thinking" for lean & total global standardization rather than "good enough", practical "theme or less specific standardization changes" to make things better a a region level. GE split up so we were more agile to the market yet we dont seem to want to be more agile at gemba

Working too many hours. A constant demand of short cycle work, overly complex processes. inefficient internal business support groups (eg SCS) . Misapplication of lean activities that create extra work & complexities. Simplify processes, refine deliverables to better fit the customer demand

Generally poor first level management. Inadequate strategies for engaging with employees better. Better training and leadership expectations for management would improve the situation. Also, executive leadership needs to be more strongly developed.

The say-do ratio from management is very low. Despite good results for the company, the working conditions are very bad (no resource, issue with IT, computers are old and not well working, access to tools and license is bad, no access to main engineering standards,.....)
