My overall experience at GE has been good. They have provided an an environment that has allowed me to grow and have a global impact. There has and continues to be times were a large company's bureaucracy comes into play. In my area this doesn't happen too often.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Teams, in general, are really good to work with. always with collaborative approach.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The equity side of our total compensation is not in line with other peer companies.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team has each other's back, focuses on the customer and operates in a collaborative way that helps accelerate our outcomes.
What makes you most happy at work?
There are a couple of items that make me most happy at work. My coworkers, the challenging work, ability to have an impact and stretch projects.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Overall the interview process is good. I would say that the process is similar to many other companies. The ability to have a conversation was appreciated.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Generally speaking, they do embrace GE's leadership behaviors or acting with humility, leading with transparency and delivering with focus. I would add that the leadership team need to work on acting with humility & watching how focused they are. There are times that the focus impacts what they see.
