What do you like best about the leadership team?
As we've grown there have been concerns about transparency and loss of "culture", but it's precisely the open dialogues we have with leadership about these issues that exhibit the company's sustained culture.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The fairness. Each employee is interviewed at minimum three times. Each interviewer is tackling a different aspect of the potential hire's fit. Each of their perspectives is weighed in a hiring manager's eventual decision.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The constant drive to be better, to improve. Google does this for its employees, philanthropy, products, etc. I'm humbled by the conversations happening every minute with eerily intelligent people about the betterment of ________ (everything).
What makes you most happy at work?
When going into a Google office, there's a freedom of work style that is liberating. If you don't want to work from your desk, work from a couch, a stool, a coffee bar, a cafe booth, outside, wherever makes you're comfortable. The enablement is unparalleled.
