Commiserating daily with my colleagues.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Managers. Pay. Technology. Security/loss prevention.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Original manager was really approachable and made me feel welcome, so I opened up and gained confidence.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Floor staff and visual merchandisers. We all work well together, and make light of sometimes near-impossible tasks, to get them done.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Owning their job role. Being present. Being approachable. Willingness to undertake floor duties when necessary. Approaching "lower" staff as a team, rather than part of a hierarchy.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Comments my manager made to myself and other colleagues: "Don't work then, it doesn't matter to me but you won't get paid." "You're worthless. The company doesn't need you." "If you don't want to be here, then don't. We don't owe you anything." Nothing could make up for treating people like this.
