I love what I do but the company needs to do better. I love cleaning the rooms and meeting new guest or seeing my coworkers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We have no benefits, no health insurance, no holiday pay.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication, leadership, structure. None of these things exist in my department.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I was shown what i would be doing, who I would be working around, took a tour of the hotel
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The only thing positive about my workplace is the employees who actually work and try to make the hotel as best as we can.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There is constant bickering between housekeepers and laundry, nothing ever gets done when we go to our supervisors or the GM. There needs to be more discussions and structure in the workplace.
