It's been the most challenging and rewarding job for me. I can't see myself leaving for a while.
What makes you most happy at work?
Making meaningful relationships with my customers and knowing that my time and effort is valued by them.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I like that we're given opportunity to go after new things when we feel complacent in our day to day. I love the leadership aspect as well, mentoring recruiters has been such a good change.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team members have become some of my best friends. I look forward to coming into office and all activities with them outside of the office because they're truly some of the best/funniest people I know.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My immediate leadership team is amazing! The amount of support, care and encouragement I receive from my SM, Christine Graffy and RM, Abby Poplowski has made all the difference in my time at IG. They make me want to do better for them and for myself.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think our bases should be raised to meet inflation and the current job market. If all of my business were to fall through tomorrow, I would not be able to survive in Chicago on a $50k base salary. Also, I am strongly against contractor PTO taking away from our spread/paychecks/contest tracking.
