What makes you most happy at work?
Engaging with those that have a growth mindset, those who don't limit themselves/others and actually promote diversity and expansion. I get along best with those that understand DEI, and mental health.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My employee reviews are inconsistent when being filled out by my supervisor as I do more than what I am supposed to do in my role. I am constantly improving and implementing different/new processes. I do not feel safe, comfortable, or appreciated on my direct team.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My desk neighbors are very nice, very personable. I enjoy our conversations and how we get along. For my entire team, I have scaled back and typically don't engage with majority of them. Being who I am, it is a lot harder for me to "fit in."
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team, in particular, that I like are those that are not in my department. I love engaging with others in different departments, having coffee chats, engaging in hot topics and just finding our similarities and differences. Listening to their journeys. Others make me feel seen, heard,
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The engagements that I have outside of my team. I will say that there are those that embody IG's culture and values, and I appreciate them so much because they have created space for me to be me, to be my genuine and authentic self. I cannot be myself on my current team.
