It is completely based on appearance and charm. You meet with between 4 and 6 people during your initial interview, where you are judged on your clothes, your physical appearance, and your tenacity and it's applicability to sales.
The best part of working at IG was that it was a comparably VERY competitive sales salary. My starting salary was 49,500 and by the time i left the company after my promotion, I was making 65,000 not including commission.
